Does sun has a territory?
In the vedas it's clearly mentioned Yes.
In vedas India is called as jambudwip. All the nine planets has been given a territory and of that Sun has been alloted Kaling , which is in Orissa. The direction mentioned is East and you know where orrisa is.
Mr. Dhawan you accept Vedic practice ,therefore as per your arguments you should accept what's mentioned in the vedas. Maharshi ved vyas has mentioned the characteristics of planets which is same as mentioned in the vedas and puranas. The findings of Nasa and Isro prooves his views. For your clarity I would like to mention the colour of Saturn which is Neelanjan ie.. of blue colour, Nasa casini confirms the colour.
Ironically Sun belongs to the lineage of Kashyap same as of Lord Ram.
Idol can be a juristic Person.
The salient features of Idol are
The Idol in the temple has Soul in them. To instill the soul we follow vedic procedures prescribed in Vedas. Since Mr. Dhawan accept Vedic practices, he would have no differences of opinion on it.
During the eclipse the idols of temples are covered with curtains since the eclipse time are considered inauspicious to worship lord.
If God can be juristic why can't Idol be. We offer prasad(food) to the Idols assuming Soul in them.
Evidence:- The findings of Dwarka, the Capitol of Lord Krishna , under the sea has many Idols which proves Idol worship existed in the dwapar yug also.
